"When I return to Bolton School to talk to pupils about entrepreneurship, my message is to 'go for it'. This is an attitude that I had instilled in me during my time at the school where my curiosity was fuelled and I became interested in ideas."

String Quartet Wows Ramsbottom Music Festival

Monday, 16 March 2015

The Junior Boys’ String Quartet competed at last weekend’s Ramsbottom Music Festival.

The Quartet, which is made up of Year 6 pupils Thomas Martin, Rafael Goloba and James Hopkinson and Brandon Yuen from Year 5, played extremely well together and gave a super performance. They gained 86 points and a distinction from the adjudicators, which allowed them to win in their class! This is a great achievement for all four boys.

They brought a cup back to School and were all awarded with medals. Their next performance will be at the Junior Boys’ Spring Concert.
