Teachers Perform Lunchtime Concert

Miss Ormerod and Mrs Ives took to the stage, accompanied by Mrs Hall-Smith, to give a delightful Lunchtime Concert. Around twenty-five boys attended the concert.

Miss Ormerod played two movements of a suite by Handel on the recorder to start the concert. Mrs Ives then played two pieces on the viola, one by Vaughan Williams and one by Tim Baxter, followed by a lively piece on the bassoon played by Miss Ormerod. The short concert ended with ‘Can't Help Loving Dat Man’ and ‘Think of Me’, both sung by Mrs Ives.

The boys who attended really enjoyed hearing their teachers perform.
