The Travelling by Tuba duo entertained the Junior Boys with a musical trip around the world.
They brought with them a variety of instruments from across the globe and allowed pupils to see, hear and learn about them. A number of lucky pupils even got to play the musical instruments, including African kudu horns and the incredibly long Swiss alpine horn!
Travelling by Tuba also got the boys to use their imaginations to imagine different locations around the world as the music played.
The boys also found out more about the history of musical instruments. They were fascinated to learn that the alpine horn was the ‘earliest mobile phone’ and was used to pass messages around the mountains, and amazed to see and hear an early Italian musical instrument called the Cimbasso.
Pupils thoroughly enjoyed their musical morning with Travelling by Tuba, and had plenty of fun while also learning lots of new facts.
