Bolton School Junior Boys

Drama Production 2014

Year 6 brought the character from the play 'Tom Sawyer' to life with aplomb. The audience was transported to Missouri, USA to witness the drama and comedy of life in the fictional town of St Petersburg.

The play centres on Tom Sawyer and how is mischievous behaviour, fertile imagination and many escapades repeatedly lead him into trouble with the adults in the town. Each section of society was acted out by the boys to contrast adults and children, good and evil, respected members of society and those who were outcasts. The play was a huge success thanks to every boy's contribution!
