Sunday, 14 November 2010

Bolton School Junior Girls met with success at the weekend at the English Schools' Biathlon event held at Wavertree Sports Park in Liverpool.  The girls competed in a 500m running race and a 50m swimming race.

In the Year 6 girls' race Louisa Brophy finished 13th overall, Grace Haskins came in 16th and Hannah Stephenson 17th.  This meant that their team was placed first overall in the Year 6 Team competition and that they will proceed to the Regional semi-final in Macclesfield in January.

They will be joined there by Senior School girls and boys from Bolton School, who also had a successful biathlon weekend.
