The Junior School of Bolton School Girls' Division has raised
several hundred pounds for charity. The girls, aged 7-11, have been
busy working hard in an end of term charity afternoon - a total of
15 cakes and sweets stalls were run and the money raised will go to
a range of charities from cancer research to animal welfare.
Mrs Hilton commented: "The girls organised all aspects of
running their stalls, including advertising, collecting goods for
sale and finally sending their monies to their charities. As usual,
the whole school entered into the spirit of the afternoon and the
girls on the stalls are to be congratulated for all their hard
work."
