Interactive Introduction to Reading for Parents

Friday, 17 September 2010

Year 3 parents were invited into school for an informative and interactive introduction to the new Hesketh House library and to the books their children will be enjoying this year.

This annual presentation is designed to set structure and guidelines for parents and their children about the importance of reading throughout the curriculum and reading as a skill for both pleasure and purpose.

Following the presentation, parents happily accompanied their daughters to the library to help them choose literature.
