Year 4 pupil Kylá Chenda-Joseph recently appeared on CITV’s Makeaway Takeaway! Young fashionista Kylá was one of Bec’s customers on the programme: she called on Bec for help re-using a favourite pair of old school shoes that no longer fit. With a little help, Kylá was able to make the shoes into a set of witchy door-stops!

Kylá’s mum put her forward to be on the programme, but she was really pleased to take part. She had fun chatting with Bec while they worked on the door-stops together. Though it was strange to repeat certain lines over and over, Kylá said: ‘It wasn’t that weird to be in front of the cameras, because my mum always takes pictures of me!’

The episode of Makeaway Takeaway that Kylá appears in aired on 15 September and is still available to watch on the ITV Hub.
