Junior Girls, their parents and teachers as well as friends of
the School, enjoyed a family day out at the Hesketh House Spring
Fair.
The order of the day was lots of fun and games. The Easter
bonnet parade was a big hit with girls going to great
lengths to show off their millinery skills. Their competitive
side came out in the egg decoration and rolling competition and
kids' bake-off. Lots of fun was had on the bouncy castle as
well as through the teddy and chocolate tombolas and the iPad
raffle.
Head of the Junior Girls' School, Mrs Ruth Brierley, said:
"Hesketh House welcomed in the Spring at their Fair on
Saturday. With traditional country dancing displays and the sound
of the Concert band playing, the scene was truly set. There was
lots of fun for the girls and adults alike, all made possible by
the hard work of the Parents' Association, teaching staff and
plenty of willing volunteers."
