The Junior Girls enjoyed glorious weather for this year’s Spring Fair at Hesketh House, and the occasion was a huge success. There was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the Junior Girls’ School as families came together to have fun for the afternoon.
The Junior Girls’ Parents’ Association had organised a host of stalls and there was something for everyone to enjoy: dwarf daffodil bulb planting in decorated pots; a Nail Bar and ‘Pink Palace Hairtique’; an obstacle course and a surfboard simulator; and lots of games and raffles with great prizes, including teddy and chocolate tombolas, Play Your Cards Right, and Lucky Dip to name just a few. There was also plenty to eat, with wood-fired pizzas, pasties, sweets, a chocolate fountain, ice cream, cakes and biscuits all available on the day.
Certainly some of the highlights were the musical performances from the girls and the maypole dance performed by pupils in the sunshine!
