"The classic Bolton School combination is hard work, good friends, challenging and thought-provoking teaching, a healthy desire to puncture the self-important and the sense that you can work hard to achieve things in life. "

To Infinity and Beyond for Children In Need

Friday, 19 November 2010

Head of Bolton School Junior Girls' School, Mrs Ruth Brierley, got in to the spirit of raising money for Children in Need by dressing up as Buzz Lightyear. The girls held a non uniform day to raise money and paid a little extra to see Mrs Brierley in fancy dress, raising over £270! Mrs Brierley also promised to drive home dressed as Buzz if the teachers and parents donated more money!

Rachael Crompton and Eleanor Gibbons in Year 5 have also been busy fundraising earlier in the week as they held a 'Boot Out Breast Cancer' Charity Event  and raised a fabulous £187.23 by selling perfumes, pens and raffle tickets.
