"The classic Bolton School combination is hard work, good friends, challenging and thought-provoking teaching, a healthy desire to puncture the self-important and the sense that you can work hard to achieve things in life. "

1920s Costumes to Celebrate Centenary

Friday, 17 June 2016

The Nursery Class for Three- and Four-Year-Olds joined in with Beech House’s celebration of Bolton School’s 100th and 500th Anniversaries by dressing up in 1920s costumes. The girls wore flapper dressed and the boys donned gangster suits for the occasion.

The children in the Nursery Class have been learning all about the 1920s, and what was happening at Bolton School during this historical period.

Children in Beech House, Bolton School’s Infant School, wore clothes representing every decade from the past century – and beyond – to celebrate the anniversaries.
