"The classic Bolton School combination is hard work, good friends, challenging and thought-provoking teaching, a healthy desire to puncture the self-important and the sense that you can work hard to achieve things in life. "

Born in Bethlehem

Thursday, 17 December 2009

Children aged two and upwards took part in this year's Nursery Nativity production, Born in Bethlehem.  Each and everyone of them performed wonderfully in front of a daunting but doting audience of parents and staff.

Mrs Thompson, the Nursery Manager, narrated the story, which was punctuated with lots of beautiful singing, including uplifting renditions of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.  The cast was made up of Joseph and Mary, Stars, the Carpenters, Housekeepers, Angels, Inn Keepers, Shepherds, Sheep, Camels, Wise Men and a Donkey!

The children performed brilliantly, no-one missing a line and delighting the capacity audience.

All money raised on the day went towards The Good Life Orphanage in Kenya, which allows children to grow up in a loving and secure environment.
