Boys and girls from the Butterfly Class at Bolton School Nursery enjoyed a special end of year graduation ceremony in the school’s Arts and Conference Centre. They were joined by family members for a fun afternoon of reflection and celebration.

Nursery staff from the Butterfly Room recalled some of the highlights of the year and spoke about how much the children had developed mentally and physically. A carousel of photos on the big screen highlighted some of their activities as boys and girls offered their reflections on their favourite things about Nursery. Staff were individually thanked with flowers from the children and the ceremony closed with the girls and boys offering a fine rendition of the Toy Story theme tune ‘You’ve Got a Friend in Me’.

Children and their parents then enjoyed afternoon tea as they reminisced further and looked forward to the move up to ‘big school’.
