All week, children at Bolton School Nursery have been learning about the emergency services and people who help other people.

Police Community Support Officer Thornley spoke to the girls and boys about all the work that the Police Service does – from crime prevention to providing security and reassurance, to dealing with emergencies and enforcing laws.

The children also learnt all about the important work of a Dentist, a Lollipop Lady, a Paramedic and the Fire Service.
