Children Enjoy a Brilliant World Book Day

  • World Book Day Nursery Class

Children in Bolton School’s Nursery Class dressed in a variety of costumes from Little Miss Sunshine and Peter Rabbit, to The Smartest Giant in Town - George, and Alice in Wonderland to celebrate World Book Day 2019. Each child also brought the book from which their character is from into class to read and share with their friends.

The focus books for the day were The Rainbow Fish and The Very Hungry Caterpillar with many activities based around these stories, for example clay rainbow fish and symmetrical butterfly painting. The children also managed to squeeze in lots of their favourite stories in between all the fantastic activities.

Teacher Mrs Browning said: “We’ve had a brilliant time and it has been another great World Book Day here in Nursery Class!”
