The First Steps and Tweenies children at Bolton School Nursery had fun with their parents, grandparents, aunties and uncles at a special Christmas-themed sing-along with Sara and Sally from Rhythm Time.
The children got to sing and play along to seasonal songs like ‘Jingle Bells’, ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ and ‘Silent Night’. There were also some adaptations, like ‘Here We Go Round the Christmas Tree’ instead of the Mulberry Bush!
All of the children got to play a wide variety of percussion instruments, including maracas, triangles, lots of different drums, and of course Christmas bells.
There was also plenty for family members to do, such as helping with actions in songs like ‘When Santa Got Stuck Up The Chimney’.
Everyone had lots of fun, and Beech House hall was filled with laughter and music throughout the Rhythm Time session.
