Discovering Diwali at Hindu Temple

  • Nursery Class Hindu Temple Visit montage

The children in the Nursery Class have learned all about the Hindu celebration of Diwali. As part of this learning, the class, plus some children from the Butterfly Room at Bolton School Nursery, visited a local Hindu temple to find out what happens in the temple during the week of Diwali.

Nursery Class teacher Mrs Browning said, “We were made extremely welcome and the children really benefitted from the exciting experience.”
