Diwali Learning at Local Temple

  • Nursery Class Temple Visit Diwali

The Nursery Class was joined by children from the Nursery’s Butterflies Room for a visit to the local Krishna Temple as part of their learning about Diwali.

Mr P D Patel, the father of the Nursery Class’s very own Mrs Patel, organised with the Temple’s President for us to spend the morning in the Mandir, where Hindus pray and worship. The children loved learning about the Hindu gods and looking at the amazing and bright decorations.

Nursery Class teacher Mrs Browning said, “We are extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to learn more about Diwali celebrations with this hands-on, first-hand experience, and thank Mr Patel and the Temple President for their time and generosity.”
