Lost Property and Second-Hand Uniform Shop

The Bolton School Senior Boys’ Second-Hand Uniform Shop is located by the stairs leading into school opposite the Chemistry Block. It is run entirely by parent volunteers. It offers good quality second-hand uniform and sports kit at very reasonable prices. There are also many outdoor items of clothing suitable for Patterdale and other trips. All items for sale have been checked for quality and washed.

The shop sells a wide variety of second-hand Bolton School uniform and sports kit (swimming, football, rugby, cricket) as well as trainers, hockey sticks, tennis rackets and general outdoor clothing.

All profits from the second-hand shop go to the Headmaster's Fund, which is used for existing pupils whose parents suffer financial hardship, to ensure that such children can take part in school visits and extra-curricular activities.

Lost Property

All lost property collected from around school is taken to the Second-Hand Uniform Shop. Named items will be kept there for at least 2 weeks for collection, and a reminder sent to boys asking them to collect their property. Unnamed items will be washed and put up for sale. Boys may borrow items of kit from Lost Property for a £1 fee and the kit must be returned, washed, within one week.

If your son inadvertently has official school sports kit at home, please return this to the Second-Hand Uniform Shop and we will ensure it is returned to the Sports Department.
