Boys Go To Wimbledon

Tuesday, 02 July 2013

The Year 7 and 8 Junior Tennis squads got the chance to experience Wimbledon last week in a fitting end to what has been a successful Tennis season.

The boys got the opportunity to watch some of the worlds best players in action, including top seeded players Tommy Haas and Kaia Kanepi, with the undoubted highlight of the day being a chance encounter with world number one Novak Djokovic at the practice courts.

Even a famous Wimbledon shower couldn’t dampen moods as the boys got to savour the atmosphere of ‘Henman Hill’ to watch British number ones Laura Robson and Andy Murray.
