"The classic Bolton School combination is hard work, good friends, challenging and thought-provoking teaching, a healthy desire to puncture the self-important and the sense that you can work hard to achieve things in life. "

Boys Perform Diverse Range of Solo and Ensemble Pieces

Thursday, 19 May 2016

Twenty three Boys' Division pupils entertained an appreciate audience in a concert in the Arts Centre. Any gloominess caused by the wet weather outside was soon dispelled by the enthusiasm of the pupils as they performed their contrasting solo and ensemble items. Years 7-13 were represented and the music ranged from a Beethoven piano sonata to Hollywood blockbusters.

Musical Evenings are held twice a year at school as a performance platform for any Boys’ Division pupil who has a piece ready to perform in public. Well done to all!
