Boys Reach Cricket Finals Day Again

The Bolton School U15s' cricket team reached the Lancashire County Cup Finals Day for the second year in succession.
Bolton overcame Canon Slade by 10 wickets at the quarter final stage, bowling the opposition out for 55. Chris Brownlow took 4 wickets for just 8 runs. The full scores were:

In earlier rounds Bolton overcame Audenshaw High School, Sharples High School and Rivington and Blackrod High School. The finals day was played at Vernon Carus Cricket Club in Preston on Friday 21 June. Unfortunately the boys lost their semi-final of the Lancashire County Cup to Lancaster. Results were:
