"The best thing I can say of the school was that it worked. It embedded in me habits of reading and thinking as well as an enduring curiosity about just about everything."

Chamber Choir in Muscular Dystrophy Concert

Saturday, 15 November 2014

Bolton School’s joint Chamber Choir performed alongside bass soloist James Fisher and Phoenix Brass/Brasshoppers at a concert held at the School to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Charity.

The choir performed two songs: Give Me Strength conducted by Mrs Whitmore, and Wade in the Water conducted by Mr Ainscough.

The annual concert routinely attracts an audience of over 300 members of the public and, this year, was held in the Great Hall at Bolton School Boys’ Division. Several hundred pounds were raised for the charity.
