Chinese Pupils Enjoy Bolton School Visit

Pupils from Bocai Boarding School, China enjoyed a taster morning at Bolton School! The children are in the UK for a few weeks visiting a number of schools across the region, with the intention that they will be submitting applications to North-West Schools the following academic year. They were accompanied by a small film crew, making a promotional video of their time in the North West of England, which will be shown on Mango TV in Hunan, China.

After an introduction to the independent day school on Chorley New Road, the boys and girls were assigned “buddies” and given a guided tour of the campus before some visited Park Road, the Junior Boys’ School, and some the Senior Boys’ School. The Chinese pupils then sat in, and were excited to sample, taster lessons of Mandarin, Music, Drama and Chemistry. Before departure, the children and their teachers capped their morning off by enjoying a typical Bolton School lunch!
