Thirty teams from primary schools around Bolton came together at Bolton School for the annual Football Festival for pupils in Years 3 and 4. There was a great atmosphere in the air throughout the evening. With sixteen matches being played at once, and all the teams proudly displaying their team’s colours, the Levels were quite a spectacle! Hundreds of parents, siblings and grandparents cheered the teams from the side lines, and the players were full of energy and excitement. Most even managed to play a ten-minute match and then run between pitches to get to their next game as soon as possible!
The Football Festival was organised by the Boys’ Division staff. They were assisted by a number of Bolton School boys from Year 11 and the Sixth Form. As well as refereeing throughout the evening, these boys took on leadership roles and did a great job of helping to coordinate the event.
The primary school pupils had a fantastic time playing football together, and with so many taking part, it certainly made for a busy and thoroughly enjoyable evening!
