International Representation at Water Polo

Three Bolton School boys have been selected to represent the England U16 water polo team at the weekend. Daniel Bentham from Y11, Harry Bentham from Y10 and Sebastian Thompson from Y9 will compete in the EU Nations competition in Brno, Czech Republic over Easter weekend.

The Bentham boys were recently both deselected from the 2002 GB squad, so this selection will come as a welcomed consolation – it will be their first international.

Y11 boys Thomas Yates and Tom Simpson had already been selected for the GB U17 squad’s training camp in Dubrovnik at the same time. They will be competing in the European Championship Qualfiying tournament in early May (selection to be made in April).
