Bolton School’s public Lunchtime Concert series concluded with an excellent performance given by students from the Junior Royal Northern College of Music. The audience, which include pupils from both Junior Schools, enjoyed a selection of pieces played on the saxophone, tuned percussion instruments and piano.

Previous events in the series have featured Jon Gjylaci playing classical guitar, Bolton School’s A Level musicians, and an organ recital from Nigel Spooner.

Mr Jeremy Bleasdale, the Boys’ Division Director of Music, said, “This has been an excellent series and has been very well attended by the public, local junior schools and members of the School community.”
