Oliver Sets his Sights on Europe

Monday, 10 May 2010

Bolton School pupil Oliver Walker has his sights set on competing in the Modern Pentathlon European Championships, and he is certainly going the right way about it!

Year 10 student Oliver has won two out of the three qualifiers for his group with fantastic times under his belt and he will compete in one more in June before finding out if he has made it through to the U16 European Triathlon which will be held in Bulgaria in September. Oliver completed a 2k run followed by shooting, and a 200m swim in each of the competitions.

Oliver is pleased with his times so far and hopeful for September. He is no stranger to International competition as he also recently competed in an U18 International in Bath.
