Penalty Shoot Out Decider for Primary Football Championship
Thursday, 07 March 2013
Eight teams took part in the Finals day of the Bolton Schools’ Primary Football Championship, held at Bolton School.
The quarter final, semi final and the final matches were all played on the day and after a tense penalty shoot out, the winners were Sacred Heart with Eagley taking second spot.
32 teams of Primary School footballers took part in the competition qualifying rounds which took place over two Friday afternoons, but just eight made it through to Finals day.
The event was organised by the Bolton School Sports' Partnership between Bolton School, ESSA Academy and St Joseph’s Horwich, and was supported by both Bolton Wanderers FC and Wigan Athletic FC.
