Quadrangle Radio’s regular updates are back after the summer break! Year 11 pupils Nat Roohan and Andy Lee will be the student leaders of the podcasting station this year. With a new team behind them and even wider participation than before, Quadrangle Radio is moving onward and upward after the successes of the last academic year.
The latest edition of ‘What’s Occurring’ was recorded by the boys last Wednesday and has now been released on Quadrangle Radio’s Soundcloud. Listeners can look forward to a lively discussion of current news topics, including the Scottish Referendum, Ebola and the iPhone6, with plenty of intelligent opinions offered from the boys involved. Planning for the next show immediately commenced, and this year’s second edition of ‘What’s Occurring’ is due to be recorded tomorrow.
As well as seeing the return of familiar shows, the new school year has also offered the boys opportunities to branch out and create new podcasts. Quadrangle Radio will be launching ‘School of Jokes’ next week, which will feature aspiring student comedians offering up their best jokes for the entertainment of listeners.
Quadrangle Radio is always looking for new talent, and it is not too late for boys to get involved! Pupils interested in taking part in recording programmes should contact Mr G Barker.
Fans of the podcasting station can follow the @QuadrangleRadio Twitter feed to stay in the loop with updates and behind-the-scenes commentary!
