Staff and Pupils in Charity Dodgeball Clash

Monday, 09 May 2016

An “all-stars” teaching staff team at Bolton School Boys’ Division took on champion dodgeball teams from across Years 7, 8, 11, 12 and 13 in an entertaining fundraiser enjoyed equally by pupils and teachers.

The different year groups had held their own knock-out competitions earlier in the term and each year group champion had their chance to take on the staff team which comprised Mr Teasdale, Mr Hall, Mr Lees, Mr Jackson, Mr Brown and a mystery sixth player. In what was a highly entertaining spectacle, commentated on expertly by Dr Reeson, the House Masters’ team won approximately half of their games and lost the other half.

Further matches will take place before the end of term as the teachers take on the winners of the Year 10 and Year 11 competitions. The fundraiser will raise over £500 and the money will go to Help for Heroes and Make a Wish Foundation and to the School’s House Charities collection.
