U15s Enjoy Cricket Tour Glory

Bolton School's U15 Cricket team returned from their three day tour to Worcester with two out of three wins!

First off the boys faced Wolverhampton Grammar, and won the match by 6 runs with a score of 199-5 (Callum Parkinson 52, Matthew Parkinson 54, and Jake Borrrows 42) against Wolverhampton's 193-5. Next up were Hereford Cathedral School and this time Bolton won by a huge 208 runs, finishing 291-2 (Haseeb Hameed 50 not out retired, Callum Parkinson 93, Jonathan Dack 51 not out retired, and Amin Munshi 53 not out retired) to Hereford's 83.

The final match of the tour was against Old Elizabethans and this time Bolton lost by 3 wickets with a score of 149 all out (Jake Borrrows 27, Callum Parkinson 50) to the Old Elizabethans 151-7.

Head of PE Mr Matt Johnson said: "The lads enjoyed some excellent cricket over the course of the three days and played on some fantastic wickets. It was a most enjoyable tour as the lads were a credit to the school and behaved themselves impeccably. Well done to them all."
