"The classic Bolton School combination is hard work, good friends, challenging and thought-provoking teaching, a healthy desire to puncture the self-important and the sense that you can work hard to achieve things in life. "

Water Polo National Winners!

Monday, 28 June 2010

Bolton School's Year 7 water polo team has won the national Bradbury Cup for the first time in 15 years!

The competition was held at Bedford Modern School on 22 June and the victory upholds the tradition of national success for Bolton School in water polo, as in recent years the school has provided the Great Britain team with a number of both male and female players.

After winning their qualifying group, the U12s progressed through to the final where they beat Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School from Hertfordshire 2-0, with goals from Tom Prayle and Dominic Walker. The boys were clearly on top form on the day as they won every game they played apart from one group game.
