Our first wine-tasting event was an intimate affair in a transformed Leverhulme Suite. Guests enjoyed a glass of Prosecco on arrival before taking their seats to hear about, and taste, three white wines from small growers. A lavish buffet was served and then guests moved on to tasting three red wines. Those with stronger constitutions were able to purchase their favourite wine by the glass or the bottle. Helped by a Champagne raffle, the evening raised £360 for the Senior Boys’ Parents’ Association. Feedback from guests was excellent and so we hope to organise a similar event in March 2019.
