Sixth Form charity representatives from Bolton School Girls' Division handed over a cheque for £727.33 to St Ann's Hospice, the largest hospice in Greater Manchester. The hospice, which has branches in Little Hulton, Cheadle and Trafford needs £16,000 per day just to keep the operation running.
The money was raised through a non-uniform day on 22 April by girls in Years 7 to 13 after Year 7 pupil Caitlyn Smith suggested St Ann's as the charity recipient.
