Bolton School in Sunday Times Guide to the Best North West Secondary Schools

The Sunday Times recently published a regional guide to the best secondary schools in the country, based on the 2013 GCSE and A Level results. In the section covering the North West, the Girls’ and Boys’ Divisions were both ranked highly.

The Boys’ Division is the top single-sex school for boys north of the M60. Overall, it was ranked the 4th best boys’ school in the whole of the North West.

Of the single-sex schools for girls, Bolton School Girls’ Division is also the top school north of the M60. In the North West ranking, it is the 4th best girls’ school. In ranking of all schools, including independent and state, single-sex and coeducational, the Girls’ Division was listed as the 10th best school overall.
