Pupils from Years 9-12 at Bolton School Girls' Division gave
some excellent performances at this year's Manchester Classical
Association Reading Competition.
The School entered four categories and Year 9 pupils Lydia
Hounat and Jainee Patel did exceptionally well to achieve second
prize in the beginners' Latin category. Year 11 pupils Hawwa Bham
and Rebecca Lowe and Year 10 pupils Isobel Cotogni and Leda
Hadjigeorgiou took part in the GCSE Latin category where Hawwa
received a commendation, while Year 12 pupils Olivia Brown and
Natalie Dagnall represented the school in the A Level Latin
Category and Year 10 pupil Hannah Mitchell took part in the GCSE
Greek category.
Congratulations to all the girls who entered as they performed
outstandingly and were excellent representatives for the
school.
