Masterchef Competition Hots Up

Monday, 19 November 2012

The Bolton School Girls' Division Masterchef competition is hotting up, as the eight quarter finalists have been revealed!

The first round began with the seventeen year 9 competitors making their own versions of stuffed peppers or mushrooms. The task in round two was to make and decorate their own cupcakes, which resulted in a range or colourful and highly imaginative cakes. The judges considered presentation, creativity and taste and awarded points for each. The points for both rounds were then averaged out and the top eight girls were put through to the quarter final.

The eight quarter finalists hoping to make it through to semi finals, and then to the live cook off grand final, are:

Melissa Cordingly

Charlotte Winrow

Kirsty Fielding

Amber Farrington

Anna Rowlands

Cerys Baines

Sophie Hayton

Louisa Brophy
