National Ski Success for Y7 Pupil

Y7 pupil Gabriella Giambattista-Hunt (left on the above photo) has been enjoying a series of recent ski successes. Over the Easter holidays, Gabriella took part in the North West Ski Federation Schools’ Race at Pendle Ski Club. She skied exceptionally well and came 4th in the Year 7-9 category, missing a bronze medal by 0.06secs! She also had the chance to meet Dave Ryding, the UK’s current best slalom racer.

Gabriella also competed in two national ski races in Sunderland at the weekend and made the podium on both days in the Ladies U14 category. Gabriella came second on Saturday at the Ravens and Tiger Club National Race and third on Sunday in the North East Ski Association Club National Race.
