Old Girl Caroline Receives OBE

Caroline Plumb (1986-1996) has been awarded an OBE in the Queen’s 90th Birthday Honours list for her services to Business and Charity. Caroline is an entrepreneur, founding recruitment business and innovation consultancy FreshMinds, as well as, more recently, a new startup called Fluidly. She is also a UK Business Ambassador for Professional Services and has a strong passion for promoting entrepreneurship, in particular amongst younger people.

After leaving Bolton School, Caroline went on to study Engineering, Economics and Management at the University of Oxford.

Caroline was presented with her award at Buckingham Palace in February this year and said of the occasion: “We all had a great day out, including my seven year old daughter, who was fascinated by the whole ceremony!”
