Twelve local primary schools took part in this year’s Big Quiz! At the end of the quiz, the scores were tallied and Highfield Priory School won first place. Devonshire Road Primary School came in second.
The quiz was organised by Bolton School staff as one of the School’s Primary Liaison events. Miss Louise Waller was the Quizmaster for the evening, and presented the winners with Amazon vouchers at the end of the quiz.
The teams, comprising six girls and boys from Years 4 and 5, were from Chorley New Road Primary School, Clarendon Cottage Preparatory School, Claypool Primary School, Devonshire Road Primary School, Highfield Priory School, Horwich Parish Primary School, Markland Hill Primary School, Pikes Lane Primary School, St Paul’s Church of England Primary School, St Philip’s Church of England Primary School, St Wilfrid’s RC Primary School, and Woodfield Primary School.
