Swimmer Elly's National Call Up

Twelve year old Year 8 pupil Elly Fraser has been selected to swim for the British national team (14 years and under) at 200m breaststroke and the English nationals for 100m and 50m breaststroke after her recent performances at the North West regional swimming championships, where she won gold for both 100m breaststroke and 200m breaststroke and a silver for the 50m breaststroke. 

Elly, whose preferred distance is the 200m breaststroke, has been swimming with the City of Salford for six years and continuously strives to get to the next level. She will next compete at the end of the month in the ASA National Championships at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.
