Tennis Success for Amy Hadjinicolaou

Monday, 03 March 2014

Over the weekend, Year 11 pupil Amy Hadjinicolaou played tennis for Lancashire in the Under 18 County Cup.

Amy won all of her matches from Friday through to Sunday: each singles match over the three days, and a doubles match on the Sunday. Unfortuantely, the team lost to Cheshire on Friday, but they rallied and went on to beat South Wales and Avon.

The Lancashire team finished the weekend in second place to the Cheshire team, in part thanks to Amy's strong performance throughout.
