These Girls Definitely Can

Senior Girls at Bolton School have had their sporting prowess rewarded at an end of season cups and colours' presentation assembly. A total of 17 girls received half colours across the sports of netball, lacrosse and swimming whilst 10 girls in Year 13 were awarded full colours for lacrosse and netball.
 
Priya Guhathakurta (Yr 11) received the ‘Upper School Victrix Ludorum’ for her commitment in no less than 5 sports - badminton, netball, lacrosse, athletics and rounders - throughout years 10 and 11. Amelia Howe (Yr 13) received the Senior Netball Cup for her consistently high level of play throughout the Sixth Form. Georgia White and Hannah Al-Saidi were jointly awarded the ‘Collinson Trophy for excellence in lacrosse.’
 
In addition to the individual sports awards and colours, a total of 50 girls in Year 9, 28 girls in Year 10 and 20 girls in Year 11 also received sports badges in recognition of their commitment to their respective sports throughout the season.
