Thirteen Earn County Call-Up for Lacrosse Tournament

Thirteen girls in Years 9 to 13 have been selected to play for the U18 Lancashire County Lacrosse A and B Squads.

Ellie Bridge in Year 9 who is just 13 years old was selected for the A Squad alongside Year 13 pupils Louisa Brophy, Molly Dick, Alisha Maini and Georgina Owen. Georgina was also given the honour of captaining the A Squad.

Bolton School pupils Maisie Camm in Year 12, Eleanor Gibbons and Amie Murray from Year 11, and Year 10 pupils Mabel Horridge, Millie Hurt, Rachel Jarvis, Maddie Kennedy, and Asmara Stubley were chosen for the B Squad.

The girls played in the Northern Counties Tournament on Sunday 6 November at Queen Margaret’s School, York. There they faced teams from Cheshire, Shropshire and Yorkshire.
