"The best thing I can say of the school was that it worked. It embedded in me habits of reading and thinking as well as an enduring curiosity about just about everything."

Viva Espana for Year 10 Girls

Wednesday, 27 November 2013

Year 10 girls studying GCSE Spanish at Bolton School enjoyed a Spanish class with a difference when they enjoyed a tapas banquet served at Viva España in Horwich.

The menu was made up of Patatas bravas, paella, chorizo, calamares, gambas en filo, champiñones al ajillo, pan de ajo, pollo en pimentón y mucho más.

Miss Irvine and Mrs Shafiq accompanied the girls on the evening and reported that the meal was a huge success and that the restaurant provided a perfect ambience for practising their Spanish.
