Year 7 Showcase Musical Talents

Year 7 pupils at Bolton School Girls’ Division put on a dazzling concert, showcasing the wide range of musical talents in the year.

A number of soloists performed on the night including Lorna Stirzaker on the clarinet, Lucinda Butterworth, Santina Hundle and Sarah Mogg on the piano, Emily Rajbhandari on the trumpet and Lucy Stiles on the flute. Hannah Rayner gave a solo saxophone performance, Antigone Blackwell played the trombone, Ella Fullelove played the viola and Sally Cowling played the oboe.

The Year 7 choir then treated the audience to songs from Les Miserables including a number of accomplished vocal solos from the girls.
