"Recently I won the Mensa Child Genius Competition and I believe that it was possible because of the academic skills and the skills to perform in front of an audience and to keep calm under pressure that I acquired at Hesketh House."

  • Send my Friend to School - jigsaw

The whole of Year 9 in the Girls’ Division has been working on the Send My Friend to School project in their Geography lessons. Each pupil has designed a jigsaw piece to illustrate the most important aspects of school and has written a political message to the government to convince them to secure more funding for education in poorer nations.

Pupils’ work has been sent to the local MP, David Crausby, with the request that he take the messages to Parliament during the Send My Friend campaign week at the start of July.
