The Poetry Festival: A Celebration of Creative Writing

Bolton School will host a Poetry Festival to bring this year’s series of Arts and Sciences Enrichment Events to a close. Members of the public are invited to join Bolton School pupils and staff for this free celebration of creativity at the School.

Girls’ Division pupils from each year group will read their own work aloud before acclaimed poet Simon Armitage will give a reading of his poetry.

This free event is open to everyone and will take place in the Girls’ Division Great Hall on Wednesday 2 May 2018, beginning at 7.00pm. Refreshments will be available beforehand from 6.30pm. Parking will be available in the Girls’ Division Quad, which will be clearly signposted on the night.
